About Us

The Central Illinois Human Resources Group (CiHRG) is a local chapter (#246) of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Chartered in August 1976 and formerly known as the Champaign-Urbana Personnel Association, our group continues to grow to meet the needs of our members.

Our Mission and Purpose

1) Serve as a local starting point for networking, information, professional development and continued support of excellence in HR.

2) Raise the standards, visibility, and recognition of the Human Resources profession.
