About Us

The Central Illinois Human Resources Group (CiHRG) is local SHRM chapter #246. Chartered in August 1976 and formerly known as the Champaign-Urbana Personnel Association, our group continues to grow to meet the evolving needs of our members.

Our Mission and Purpose

1. Serve as a local starting point for networking, information, professional development, and continued support of excellence in human resources.
2. Raise the standards, visibility, and recognition of the human resources profession.
