Mission, Purpose, and HistoryThe Central Illinois Human Resources Group (CiHRG) is a local chapter (#246) of SHRM. Since 1948, SHRM has provided programs and services to improve the professional knowledge of HR professionals. It also promotes broader awareness of the value of human resource management and remains a key source of HR field developments.
Chartered in August 1976 and formerly known as the Champaign-Urbana Personnel Association (CUPA), CiHRG continues to grow to meet the needs of our members. DuesAnnual dues are payable on January 1. Please refer to the Membership page for current rates. Meeting InformationCiHRG meets monthly, typically on the second Tuesday. The monthly newsletter provides meeting location and time details. The board oversees topical areas and chapter leadership. Members are encouraged to share input and consider joining the board. For details, visit the Board page or contact us.
