I've been in the human resources field since 2008 and proudly a member of CiHRG since 2015. I hold a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation and a Strategic Human Resources Leadership certification from Cornell University, as well as a Master of Public Administration from Governor’s State University and a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Illinois. Outside of work, I love cooking, crafting, and spending quality time with my family.

Human Resources Business Analyst at the Prairie Research Institute, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  Formerly - Human Resources at Developmental Services Center.  Megan holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration and a Master's level certificate in Human Resources Management.  In her spare time she loves to read, camp, fish, hunt, and spend time with family and friends.

HR Director for Cunningham Children's Home. Prior to that, HR Director for  DCC Propane and The Bromley Group of Companies.  Paige completed her MBA at the U of I with a concentration in health care management and human resources.  She enjoys running (OK—she enjoys the bling), traveling, spending time with her husband and 2 kids, and is a HUGE Disney fan.

Beth is a senior leader in the Total Rewards function at Heartland Dental and is responsible for development, deployment, and management of performance management initiatives and has also been deeply involved in benefits administration and operations leadership development.  Prior to her time at Heartland Dental, Beth worked outside of the HR field for several years, managing the benefits administration call center for Citibank in the US and direct-to-consumer sales for Horizon Hobby.  Beth also previously managed the Distribution Division Human Resources and Corporate Safety programs at Horizon Hobby and previously served on the CiHRG board as Professional Development Chair, leading and coordinating semi-annual certification study groups for the membership.  Beth holds a B.S. in Organizational Development through Eastern Illinois University.

Sasha is the Lead Human Resources Specialist with Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit (MTD). When not at work, Sasha loves spending time with her family, especially her three godchildren.

Talent Acquisition Partner with University of Illinois Human Resources.  When not at work, Eric loves to learn about ancient Roman history and hunt for 1960s – 1970s era comic books. 

Business Development Manager for Express Employment Professionals. Holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Eastern Illinois University. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, live music, creative writing, and spending time with friends and family.

Cindy Magsamen is the Major Gifts Officer at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center in Champaign. In this role, she is instrumental in securing significant contributions that support the hospital's mission and provide essential resources for patient care. Cindy's work is vital in advancing the hospital's initiatives and ensuring high-quality healthcare services for the community.

Shannon began her journey with Express Employment Professionals in 2014 as a Recruiter in Champaign, IL. She quickly moved into leadership and, in 2018, became a partner with Lynn and Richard Yoerk. Under her leadership, the Danville office experienced significant growth and success.

Before joining Express, Shannon worked as a Kindergarten Teacher and Assistant Principal. She holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Eastern Illinois University, along with her Principal Endorsement and Specialist Degree in Educational Administration. In 2024, Shannon earned the SHRM-CP, further solidifying her expertise in human resources.

Shannon’s passion for teamwork, growth, and training has led her to conduct weekly training for multiple Express offices and participate on national committees.

Jacinda holds a SHRM-SCP and has over 10 years leadership experience in the human resources field. She currently serves as the Human Resources Director at the Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District, where she leads a team overseeing HR operations for over 400 employees. Her work focuses on recruitment, employee development, compliance, and fostering an inclusive workplace. Formerly, she served as the Director of Human Resources at USD#116 where she started her career as a 6th Grade Teacher.
